Quality HealthCare provides RT-PCR express tests for cross-border people who need to have test result within 24 hours. People who are asymptomatic can choose to collect their deep throat saliva samples at home. By using the WHO-approved reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test technology, the test can detect the presence of unique genomic markers of the SARS-CoV-2 virus - the culprits of COVID-19.

The package includes medical consultation for our doctors to assess the clients’ physical condition, and the RT-PCR test to detect the genomic markers of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This serves as a screening for the risk of COVID-19 infection.

Procedure

  1. Once payment is confirmed, a confirmation letter will be sent to the customer's email. 
  2. Customer can directly attend designated Quality HealthCare Medical Centers for consultation and take the sample collection bottle after doctor consultation.
  3. Collects deep throat saliva sample at home in the morning (please avoid eating/drinking and do not brush your teeth before testing). Return the sample to the designated clinic on the day of collection before 9 a.m. (applicable for Monday-Saturday).
  4. Electronic test result report will send via email within 24 hours (counting from the sample received) (client can print out themselves).
  5. If the test result meets the reporting criteria, Quality HealthCare will report the relevant case to the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) in accordance with government guidelines and refer the client to the designated hospital under the Hospital Authority for further clinical treatment.
