Prevention of typhoid fever.

Typhoid fever is caused by the bacteria Salmonella Typhi. The incubation period is 7–21 days. Symptoms of typhoid fever include sustained fever as high as 39°– 40°C. There may also be headache, malaise, loss of appetite, and constipation or diarrhoea (adults tend to get constipation while children tend to get diarrhoea). In severe cases, there may be intestinal bleeding and perforation, impaired consciousness and even death if untreated.

How:

Subcutaneous or Intramuscular injection

  • Primary immunization: Single Dose
  • Booster dose: may be given every 3 years

Recommended for

Adults and children aged 2 or above; Travellers who are going to visit endemic areas of typhoid fever (e.g., Africa, Asia, Central/South America) are advised to get vaccinated

• Customers must present their identity cards and order confirmation letter (printed or e-version) on the appointment day.
• Quality HealthCare will contact the customer within 5 working days after successful payment for appointment arrangement.
• The redemption will be valid for 6 months starting from the date of payment.
• Individuals aged 17 or below (age according to the date of vaccination) MUST be accompanied by their parents/guardians, who will sign on the consent form on behalf of the enrollees in the clinic.
•Doctor's consultation is included prior to the 1st dose of vaccine. Patients will have to pay a consultation fee of $300 if considered not suitable for the vaccine injection and the remaining balance will be refunded.
• Amendment or cancellation is not allowed once the payment is confirmed, and is not transferable and refundable.
• All tests are not for the purpose of medical diagnosis or treatment.
• Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers or discounts and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.
• In case of disputes, the decision of Quality HealthCare Medical Services Limited shall be final.
