Meningococcal Meningitis is caused by the bacteria Neisseria meningitidis. The disease is mainly transmitted by direct contact through respiratory secretions from infected persons. The disease can cause brain damage or even death.

Active immunization against invasive meningococcal disease caused by N. meningitidis serogroup B.

How:

Intramuscular Injection

A total of 2-4 doses are required for the vaccination to be fully effective:

  • Aged 2 months: 3 doses in total; 3 successive doses at 1 month interval; followed by a booster dose at the aged of 12 months or above, at least 6 months after the 3rd dose
  • Aged 3-11 months: 2 doses in total; 2 successive doses at 2 month interval, followed by a booster dose at the aged of 12 months or above, at least 6 months after the 2nd dose
  • Aged 12-23 months: 2 doses in total; 2 successive doses at 2 months interval, booster dose 12-23 months after the 2nd dose
  • Aged ≥ 2 above: 2 doses in total; 2 successive doses at 1 month interval

• The product is applicable to individuals aged 2 months and above (age according to the date of vaccination).
• Customers must present their identity cards and order confirmation letter (printed or e-version) on the appointment day.
• Please contact related centre for stock avalability before redemption.
•The redemption will be valid for 6 months starting from the date of payment.
• Individuals aged 17 or below (age according to the date of vaccination) MUST be accompanied by their parents/guardians, who will sign on the consent form on behalf of the enrollees in the clinic.
• Doctor's consultation is included prior to the 1st dose of vaccine. Patients will have to pay a consultation fee of $300 if considered not suitable for the vaccine injection and the remaining balance will be refunded.
• Amendment or cancellation is not allowed once the payment is confirmed, and is not transferable and refundable.
• All tests are not for the purpose of medical diagnosis or treatment.
• Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers or discounts and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.
• In case of disputes, the decision of Quality HealthCare Medical Services Limited shall be final.
