HPV Vaccine (9-in-1) (2 doses) (suitable for aged 9-14)
HPV Vaccine (9-in-1) (2 doses) (suitable for aged 9-14)

Cervical cancer is one of the most common types of cancer among women in Hong Kong. 70% of cervical cancer cases are caused by HPV 16 and 18, the most prevalent types of HPV, for which vaccination is one of the preventions.

HPV is a group of viruses that include more than 200 genotypes, which can be divided into high-risk and low-risk HPV. HPV can be transmitted through sexual contact. Sexually active men and women are at risk of contracting HPV, a common infectious disease that cannot be prevented completely with the use of condoms. Additionally, HPV-infected women also have risk in exposing their infants to infection during delivery.

The HPV vaccine (9-in-1) provides immunity that prevents up to 90% of cancer and diseases caused by HPV. These include cervical, vulvar, vaginal and anal intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN VIN, VAIN and AIN) and cancer, as well as genital warts caused by specific HPV types. Receiving the HPV vaccine early will provide you and your family with advance protection from HPV.
