According to traditional Chinese medicine theory, the uterus cannot be properly warmed if there is yang deficiency, leading to the cold retention in uterus and resulting in "uterine cold." Uterine cold can hinder and block the circulation of qi and blood in the uterus and abdominal area causing cold induced blood stasis pattern, disharmony between the Chong and Ren pattern,  which can increase the risk of gynaecological diseases in the long run, such as dysmenorrhea, uterine fibroids and even contribute to infertility.

Quality HealthCare TCM Uterus Warming Treatment utilizes external application of Chinese medicine with warm property and acupuncture treatment, which warm and tonify kidney yang, dissipate cold and eliminate stasis, improve overall meridians and collaterals system and enhance qi and blood circulation, thus achieving the goal of nourishing and preserving the uterus and preventing symptoms associated with it. Registered Chinese medicine practitioners will conduct a thorough assessment of each patient's condition for pattern identification. Tailored treatment plans will be prescribed for better treatment outcomes.

The treatment includes:

  • TCM Consultation
  • External Application of Chinese medicine with warm property

Using formulated Chinese medicine prescription with warming and tonifying kidney yang, dissipating cold and transforming stasis, circulating qi and relieving pain properties, applied on the abdomen with gauze in between and with the assistance of TDP lamp, thereby achieve the goal of nourishing and preserving the uterus.

  • Acupuncture

Acupuncture promotes the circulation of meridians and collaterals system, regulates zang-fu function, improves the qi and blood circulation in the abdominal cavity and uterus.

The treatment duration is approximately 1 hour.

*Patients are suggested to undergo TCM Uterus Warming Treatment once a week.
