With continues changing of the epidemic situation, the public's awareness of epidemic prevention has intensified. To reduce the risk of community transmission, simply paying attention to personal hygiene is not enough. Rather, it is also important to conduct prudent risk assessments. For people who have no symptoms but at risk, they can also perform the screening test.

Quality HealthCare is now providing RT-PCR tests to the public. People who are asymptomatic can choose to collect their deep throat saliva samples at home. By using the WHO-approved reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test technology, the test can detect the presence of unique genomic markers of the SARS-CoV-2 virus - the culprits of COVID-19.

The test includes medical consultation for our doctors to assess the clients’ physical condition and detect the genomic markers of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This serves as a screening for the risk of COVID-19 infection.

  1. Once payment is confirmed, a confirmation letter will be sent to the customer's email. 
  2. Customer can directly attend designated Quality HealthCare Medical Centers for consultation and take the sample collection bottle after doctor consultation.
  3. Collects deep throat saliva sample at home in the morning (please avoid eating/drinking and do not brush your teeth before testing). Return the sample to the designated clinic on the day of collection.
  4. Should the sample collection service is needed, an extra of HK$150 is applied for the courier service.
  5. Electronic test result report will send via email in about 2 to 3 days.
  6. If the test result meets the reporting criteria, Quality HealthCare will report the relevant case to the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) in accordance with government guidelines and refer the client to the designated hospital under the Hospital Authority for further clinical treatment.
